Johannesburg – Bafana Bafana coach, Gordon Igesund has said that he hopes to have a bigger selection of players to choose from for their do-or-die SWC qualifier against Botswana in September.

Football411's website reports that Bafana Bafana need to beat the Zebras and hope that Ethiopia obtain nothing more than a draw against the Central African Republic.

Igesund's charges will head into the encounter buoyed by a 2-0 victory over the 2013 AFCON runners-up Burkina Faso at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

However, with the fixture not falling within a FIFA-approved date, Igesund was left without a host of players, most notably his foreign-based legion of Bongani Khumalo, Ayanda Patosi and Thulani Serero, along with Kagiso Dikgacoi.

"Thulani Serero is playing again, Ayanda Patosi is back in action, there is KG (Kagiso Dikgacoi) and even Bongani Khumalo is playing regularly," Igesund said in the Star.

"I spoke to his coach (Paul Dickov) and he said he has been outstanding at the moment."

"There is a lot of talent in this country and a lot of talent overseas.

"I know the importance of the game against Botswana and I will select a team that will go and win the game against Botswana."
