According to SoccerLaduma, SAFA will not be making a duel announcement on Saturday, but will instead delay naming the successful candidate for the position of technical director.

SAFA's communications manager, Dominic Chimhavi, confirmed Danny Jordaan's decision to delay the announcement.

Chimhavi stated that SAFA want the public to first digest the news of the coach before the confirmation of the technical directorship is revealed.

At this point in time it seems that Baxter is the only man in the running for the job and the delay is simply to allow the new coach to confirm that he will be able to work with Baxter going forward.
