Rovers boss slams Igesund

Johannesburg - Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov has slammed Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund as lacking "common sense", according to the Sowetanlive website.

This after defender, Bongani Khumalo, was dealt a heavy blow by the news that he could face six months on the sidelines with a ruptured patella.

The 27-year-old was stretchered off during last week’s 5-0 defeat to Brazil and rushed to hospital for tests.

But Igesund said he was not answerable to coaches in Europe. He said he will not allow the coaches to tell him how and when to play the selected players.
