Rantie withdraws from Bafana squad

Cape Town – Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie has pulled out of South Africa’s two international friendlies due to injury.

Bafana Bafana confirmed via their official Twitter account that the Bournemouth forward pulled a thigh muscle.

“Tokelo Rantie has pulled out of Central American tour having pulled a thigh muscle but Anele, Kamohelo, Masango etc are in camp,” read the Tweet.

South Africa take on Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8 in San Jose at the Estadio Nacional.

Kick-off is at 04:00 SA time on Friday, October 9.

Five days later, Bafana Bafana clash against Honduras at the Metropolitano Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

Kick-off is at 00:00 SA time.
