Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana midfielder, Ayanda Patosi, has confirmed that he is enjoying the end-of-the-season break with family and friends in Cape Town.
According to the soccerladuma website, the Khayelitsha-born player, who scored his first goal in Bafana colours against Australia last week Monday, plays for Lokeren FC in Belgium.
“I am enjoying quality time with friends and family in Cape Town. I am not going anywhere else. It’s good to be with the loved ones again – my mother, brother and girlfriend. I will relax and enjoy some needed rest. I will go to the gym now and again to keep fit. My mother is very happy for me. She has always been supportive. It’s like she knew a long time already (that I would make it professionally). She would wash my training gear and give me transport money to training and all of that. She knew then already that I love football,” said Patosi.
Patosi was one of the influential players for Bafana in the recent tour to Australia and New Zealand respectively, despite the side only managing to get draws (1-1 and 0-0) in the two matches.
