Nigeria to tackle Bafana in Uyo

Cape Town - The Nigeria Football Federation have scheduled the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana to take place in Uyo.

The Eagles traditionally use the UJ Esuene Stadium, but have decided to switch to the newly-built Uyo International Stadium, following complaints about the condition of the pitch after the 3-2 loss against Congo last month.

NFF officials, led by new president Amaju Pinnick, recently visited the 30,000 capacity venue at the Akwa Ibom capital and were evidently impressed.

The match against Bafana Bafana  will be the first time the reigning African champions will be using the stadium.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
