Moyes makes U-turn on Bafana

Johannesburg - Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has withdrawn himself from the running for the vacant Bafana Bafana coach's role, just days after applying to the position.

According to the Football411 website, the Scotsman made his interest in the Bafana hot seat known last week Friday after his agent contacted the South African Football Association via an email.

However, the former Everton tactician has now made a U-turn on that decision, with the Sowetan quoting the 51-year-old's representative as saying through an email: "I have worked with David Moyes for the past 20 years and on Friday he wished to be considered, however, he now has another opportunity, so sorry for the change."
