Mosimane rings the changes

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has made five changes to his squad after they drew 0-0 with Equatorial Guinea in an international friendly match on Friday.

The upcoming fixtures against Zambia at the Rand Stadium on Wednesday and Ghana at Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Sunday have been stripped of their international status.

The national team will be without Morgan Gould, who has been recalled by his club SuperSport United. Gould captained Bafana in Equatorial Guinea.

Bradley Grobler, Siboniso Gaxa and Daylon Claasen have returned to their overseas clubs as per agreement that they will only play one match for the national team (against Equatorial Guinea).

The five players have been replaced by Thami Sangweni (AmaZulu), Thato Mokeke, Nhlanhla Vilakazi (both Ajax Cape Town), Lehlohonolo Masalesa (Wits) and Thabo Nthete (Bloemfontein Celtic).

They are already in camp at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Complex in Phokeng near Rustenburg.

Eric Mathoho will not be playing due to a family death.
