At the post match press conference Mosimane revealed he was happy with the performance despite the draw, but at the same time admitted he is has no illusions as to the pressure he is under to produce results.
He said: "'I think the team did well, we kept, attacking, we had the right attitude. We created lots of chance and I think the boys did their best.
''In my opinion I thought May (Mahlangu) could have wrapped it up in the second minute. That could have changed our fortunes. Teko could have also wrapped it up, but the same story we couldn't take them."
Mosimane lamented the fact that some of his players only arrived in Durban on Tuesday, leaving him with a full squad for only one training session.
''You need time to prepare. We need to experiment. Some boys only arrived here on Tuesday. I need to try new formations but I don't have the time."
Mosimane added that his strikers need to show more composure in goalscoring situations but again reiterated his need for more time with his players.
''We need a little bit more temperament in front of goal. But with two sessions I can't train a team to score. I am doing my best.''
The former SuperSport United coach said that it was not in his nature to play smaller teams just to try and register a big result.
''As a coach I don't want to bring small teams, that's not in my character. I rather take the stress against the big teams. I don't want to put four or five past a small team just to buy a win. It's a test of character.''
Mosimane knows his position as Bafana boss will come under even more scrutiny the closer we get to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and the pressure is beginning to tell.
He exclaimed: "I am a human being as well. I have got kids and a family, they take the stress. It's not easy for me.''
