Johannesburg - Aaron Mokoena is not thinking about hanging up his international boots just yet as he still enjoys representing Bafana Bafana.
The national team skipper has amassed more than 100 caps in the green and gold and the first South African to achieve the milestone.
Ahead of Bafana's international friendly with Ghana, 'Axe' said: "Of course the most important thing now is the AFCON in 2012 and the World Cup in 2014 and this match will help us prepare for the tough road ahead.
"For me it is still enjoyable. I still enjoy representing my country. When the time comes for me to give it up you will be the first to know."
Mokoena has predicted a tough night out for the national team against the Black Stars at Soccer City on Wednesday.
"They did very well in the World Cup and it will be a mountain to climb for us, but we have a solid foundation now after the World Cup and we can build on that," added the 29-year-old.
"The performance against France when we beat them 2-1 was absolutely phenomenal, but I think facing the African giants that is Ghana will be a difficult task.
"We arrived (in camp) yesterday and it is always difficult for a coach to prepare the team after two sessions, but the spirit that we had during the World Cup you can still feel it in the team.
"We know each other very well and the good thing is the new players coming in now we also know them very well like Daine Klate, so there is no doubt about the good spirit in the team, that will be key."
Mokoena has also shed some light on his future with Portsmouth.
"Well, I still have a contract with Portsmouth. I love the club and honestly we don't know what will happen, but there is still two weeks to go before the transfer window shuts, but at this stage I don't know what will happen," he concluded.
