Mabokgwane targets No 1 spot

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces goalkeeper, Jackson Mabokgwane, has set his sights on claiming the number-one jersey for Bafana Bafana.

Having achieved his career-best of 36 matches in all competitions last season, including national team appearances, Mabokgwane believes that he can now work on becoming first choice for South Africa Shakes Mashaba.

"I think I just have to continue doing what I've been doing for Aces," Mabokgwane told Football411, "and maybe try to improve with each game and try to be better than I was last season.

"I think I played most games last season and that was my career best. So I should aim to try and better that.

"I also need to be much more confident and push to be the top goalkeeper in the PSL."
