Lebese gets Bafana call-up

Cape Town - Shakes Mashaba has selected a 25-man Bafana Bafana squad to play two international friendlies against Costa Rica and Honduras.

South Africa travel to South America in the next FIFA international break between October 5-13.

Mashaba's charges take on Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8 in Liberia at the Baltodano Bricenio Stadium.

Kick-off is at 04:00 SA time on Friday, October 9.

Five days later, Bafana Bafana clash against Honduras at the Metropolitano Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

Kick-off is at 00:00 SA time.

In the latest FIFA rankings, Costa Rica are ranked 39th, while Honduras are 81st.

Bafana Bafana are ranked at 72nd.

Goalkeepers: Jackson Mabokgwane (Mpumalanga Aces FC), Itumeleng Khune (Kaizer Chiefs), Ronwen Williams (SuperSport United).

Defenders: Eric Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs), Rivaldo Coetzee (Ajax Cape Town), Thulani Hlatshwayo (Bidvest Wits), Siyabonga Nhlapo (Bidvest Wits), Anele Ngcongca (Racing Genk), Mzikayise Mashaba (Mamelodi Sundowns), Clayton Daniels (SuperSport United), Thabo Matlaba (Orlando Pirates).

Midfielder: Dean Furman (SuperSport United), Andile Jali (KV Oostende), Bongani Zungu (Sundowns), Mandla Masango (Randers FC), Jabulani Shongwe (Bidvest Wits), Mpho Makola (Orlando Pirates), Ayanda Patosi (Lokeren), George Lebese (Kaizer Chiefs), Oupa Manyisa (Orlando Pirates).
