***MATCH REPORT***

Real end to end stuff at Cape Town Stadium.  Both teams had really good chances to score.  Nigeria had a chance cleared off the line and Bafana could have stolen it at the end, but Nigeria keeper Ejide spread himself well to block a shot from Rantie after he had found lots of space down the right.

Both teams had periods of dominance, but Bafana finished the game much stronger as Nigeria seemed to tire as the game wore on. Bafana have still not beaten Nigeria since 1992, and today they had a great chance but it was not to be.  Mashaba might look to add more striking power to his squad by including Kermit Erasmus who is in sublime goal scoring form.
