Bafana goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, hailed a morale-boosting result following
his side's 3-0 triumph over 10-man Mauritius.
The hosts cruised to a comfortable win in their 2016 CHAN
preliminary round, first-leg tie at Dobsonville Stadium, putting themselves
firmly in control for the second leg in Mauritius.

While the margin of the scoreline could have and should have
been larger, Khune was happy with the result.
"It was very important for us - the win was a
morale-booster for us," Khune said.
"This was a very important match; at home we needed to
win at all costs. And going away [to Mauritius], it will be very important to
win for our nation and qualify for the CHAN tournament."
South Africa will resume hostilities with Mauritius on the
weekend of 3-5 July.
