Igesund's father passes away

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund's father, Gordon Igesund Snr, passed away on Monday at the age of 81.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) announced the news via their official website on Tuesday.

SAFA extended its heartfelt condolences to the Bafana Bafana coach.

Igesund Snr is survived by his wife, four children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“This is a massive loss. He was the rock of my life,” said the Bafana Bafana coach.
