Igesund names Bafana squad

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund says he is finding balance in his squad ahead of their match against Zambia in the Nelson Mandela Challenge at FNB Stadium next week.

Igesund named a 24-man squad for the clash in Nasrec on Monday, and he said he had nearly finalised his group for next year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

“We've played four games and I've really had a good look at a pool of players,” said Igesund, who took charge of the national squad in July.

“I've probaly got about 75 to 80 percent of the team."
