Gumede: The team did well

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Tshepo Gumede, who had a good game for Bafana Bafana as they beat Mauritius 3-0 in the first leg of the CHAN qualifiers, was pleased with the overall team performance.

The former Platinum Stars defender said that the team did very under the circumstances.

He told Sport24 that the players were determined to win and they did exactly as required.

"The team did very well,“ Gumede said. 

“The players wanted to win and that's what we did. 

“We knew it wouldn't be easy, but we fought for each other, and got the result that we wanted.”
