According to Soccer Laduma, Furman has been nursing an injury since Bafana Bafana’s 2-2 against Nigeria.

The 26-year-old only featured 16 minutes since his return to the UK for his club, Doncaster Rovers.

“I’m currently taking some time off playing due to a groin strain that I picked up against Nigeria that has been causing me problems or a couple of weeks,” said Furman.

“Hopefully I’ll be back in action as soon as possible though.”

Meanwhile, Coach Shakes Mashaba will name his preliminary squad for AFCON 2015 on Thursday, December 18.
