Diouf 'impressed' with Bafana

Johannesburg - Senegal interim coach Sega Karim Diouf couldn't help but sound condescending in his appraisal of Bafana following Wednesday night's 0-0 draw in Durban.

Diouf brought a very young side to South Africa with a number of their big-name players having pulled out ahead of the international friendly.

And despite creating numerous chances, Pitso Mosimane's team failed to break down the Teranga Lions.

After the match, Diouf, who is tasked with rebuilding his side following a disappointing AFCON 2012, said he was impressed with their opponents on the night.

He said: "We trying to build this team again. I thought South Africa played well, they were very strong tactically. I admire they way they fought and the manner in which they tried to win the ball back.

"I was particularly impressed with Steven Pienaar and Punch Masenamela."

Funny how they're all so arrogant, yet when push comes to shove they're simply useless!! We're stuck with Africa's LOSERS!!

punch is really growing, which is good for our team because number 3 position is a crucial one and not many players can play there.

Get rid of Pitso, he is useless, oops i forgot Bafana Bafana has been useless since their last big win in 1996... Soccer is not our sport, scrap this useless junk team.

Hi Poloyatonki. I think it is our sport and we have lots of talent. The problem is we are underachievers. We need a decent coach and a couple of strikers who can score goals.

Mike, which talent are you talking about? You are like the people who do not like us to say that a child has failed. We must candy coat the truth. We are underachievers because football is not for us. Last season the team that scored the highest goals in the PSL scored 49 goals. Messi alone scored close to 100. Benni and old man, will be the top scoring South African player in the PSL !

I think is time now we show Pitso the front door,he cost us big time.H e doesn't SAFA to pay mutiman his R90 000,in the meantime he's earning R800 0000.00 for what, ever building a team, always complaining about he needs more time. I think he's using this mutiman to keep his job even though he's not perfoming. Please Mbalula chase this guy b4 we its late.
