Furman joins Bafana in CT

Johannesburg - England-based midfielder Dean Furman has arrived in Cape Town to join his Bafana Bafana team-mates ahead of South Africa's friendly international match against Norway on Tuesday.

Furman's arrival completes head coach Gordon Igesund's 23-man squad that has been selected to take part in the Orange Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament kicks off on Saturday, January 19.

The Oldham Athletic midfielder played in his club's 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round in England on Saturday.

Bafana Bafana had a light training session on Sunday morning at the Sea Point Promenade. They will have their final training session on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian national team has arrived in South Africa with 19 players - two goalkeepers and 17 in-field players.
