Da Gama confident in Amaglug-glug

Cape Town - National under-23 coach, Owen Da Gama, is confident his team is well equipped to do the country proud in the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games qualifier.

Amaglug-glug play Egypt in two friendlies this week, on Thursday June 11 and Sunday June 14.

“I think we are better than we were when we played the All Africa Games qualifiers, and I expect the boys to give a much improved performance starting with the upcoming two friendly games against Egypt,” Da Gama told Sport24.

Da Gama said he feels his team is much stronger now and ready for the task at hand.

“I’m confident the two matches against African giants, Egypt will help us get ready for our important qualifier next month.”

The former Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars coach, said his team will work on getting better and playing as a unit as they fine tune their preparations.
