Bafana to welcome Messi

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana are scheduled to play Argentina in March according to the FIFA.

The official FIFA website reports that Shakes Mashaba and his Bafana Bafana charges are set to host the likes of Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria on Saturday, March 28th in an international friendly.

While there has been no official announcement from SAFA of the proposed friendly fixture, the world football governing body indicates that the match against Argentina will be staged at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Bafana Bafana are currently preparing for their third AFCON 2015 friendly against Mali on Wednesday.

Shakes Mashaba's side have beaten Zambia 1-0 and earned a 1-1 draw against Cameroon in their previous warm up encounters..

January 19 - South Africa v Algeria, Estadio de Mongomo, 21:00

January 23 - Senegal v South Africa, Estadio de Mongomo, 21: 00

January 27 - Ghana v South Africa, Estadio de Mongomo, 20:00
