Bafana to tackle Brazil?

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana could face the five-time world champions, Brazil, in a friendly international in March next year.

The Soccer-Laduma website on Tuesday reported that according to the FIFA calendar, South Africa will tackle the 2014 World Cup hosts in Johannesburg.

However, the South African Football Association (SAFA) is yet to confirm the fixture.

The clash between the two sides could be one of Brazil’s warm-up matches prior to the global spectacle next year.

Brazil defeated Bafana 1-0 on September 7 last year in an entertaining battle at the Estadio do Morumbi in Sao Paulo in what was Gordon Igesund’s first game in charge of the national team after the departure of Pitso Mosimane.
