Bafana set for Kenya friendly

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana will play Kenya in a friendly clash next week following Burkina Faso's decision to pull out of the fixture.

The 2010 World Cup hosts were set to face Burkina Faso on February 2, but Kenya will now feature instead.

A statement released by SAFA reads: 'The South African Football Association (SAFA) has announced on Wednesday, 2 February 2011 that Bafana Bafana will play against Kenya in an international friendly match to be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday, 9 February 2011.

'This comes after Burkina Faso pulled out of the fixture on Wednesday, 02 February 2011.

'Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane will announce the squad to face Kenya on Thursday, 3 February at 11:00. The announcement will be made at SAFA House in Nasrec.'
