Bafana jump in FIFA rankings

Cape Town - Following their unbeaten run in AFCON 2015 qualifying, Bafana Bafana have risen 10 places in the FIFA rankings.

The national side are now ranked 57th in the world following a successful start under the guidance of Shakes Mashaba.

Bafana Bafana, who look on course to qualify for AFCON 2015, are ranked as the 12th best side on the continent in the latest FIFA rankings.

South Africa next face Group A opponents Sudan, at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on November 15. 

A win against Sudan will guarantee Bafana Bafana a place at AFCON 2015. The match kicks off at 15:00.
