Bafana confirm Senegal clash

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana will face Senegal in a friendly international in Durban later this month, the SA Football Association (SAFA) confirmed on Monday.

"We have concluded an agreement with Senegal and the match will take place on February 29," said SAFA chief executive Robin Peterson.

Peterson said he hoped SA football fans would pack the Moses Mabhida Stadium for the clash.

"It should be an exciting game and we hope football fans come in their thousands to witness what should be a great spectacle."

Senegal are ranked 43rd in the world - 13 places above South Africa - and are rated fifth among African nations.
