Ajax CT v Man Utd confirmed

Cape Town - The off-season friendly between PSL club Ajax Cape Town and English giants Manchester United has been confirmed for July 21.

The 19-time English champions will face the Urban Warriors at the Cape Town Stadium in their first visit to the country since they formed part of the Vodacom Challenge back in 2008, when they beat Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 in the final.

Ajax CEO George Comitis said he "is not in a position to give any information", but a source at the City of Cape Town has confirmed to the KickOff website that negotiations have been completed and that the match will indeed take place.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
