According to the football411.com website, the hosts will take on Cape Verde, Angola and Morocco on the 19th, 23rd and 27th of January respectively as they look to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Last week, Igesund had the opportunity to watch the Blue Sharks take on Nigeria in a friendly international, as well as his former team Moroka Swallows.
"I've got a video, a DVD of every single player from Cape Verde, individuals, and from Morocco and I watch them all the time. You know what a player likes to do, so they can't work it out and it makes it a bit tougher for them," Igesund said.
"It's not about what the team can put out, but much more about who's going to be playing, so they can plan a game. As a coach you know the opposition, you know their weaknesses and strengths of every single player."
Bafana drew 0-0 with Algeria in their last warm-up match on Saturday and Igesund is not fazed by the lack of goals, instead focusing on the team's showing.
"Overall I'm very happy with the performance, which was all I was worried about, the performance heading into Cape Verde. I've been saying all along we're going to be ready by the time that game (first AFCON game) comes," he added.
