According to African Football, Gueye confidently states that Senegal know what it takes to defeat South Africa.

“We saw a very good South African team, but it is up to us to focus on ourselves, what we have to do and where we want to go, and not on the other sides,” said Gueye.

“We know we have what it takes to defeat them. Nothing is over yet.

“We need to do everything to win this game to have maximum points for the rest of the competition.”

Bafana Bafana and Senegal are set to face one another on Friday, January 23.

Kick-off is at 21:00.
