Cape Town - Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a global mega star, known for his blockbuster movies and professional wrestling belts, but did you know the entertainment icon once dreamed of wearing an All Blacks jersey?
According to the AllBlacks.com website, in a recent Twitter Q&A session, Johnson responded to a query about whether he had ever played rugby by saying he played the sport as a kid in New Zealand.

The 196cm, 118kg powerhouse spent time living in Auckland at a young age
while his father travelled the world as a professional wrestler. He
returned to the United States where he became a college football star
before conquering the wrestling ring and moving onto Hollywood.

Johnson was quick to respond, saying that he was ‘ready’.

The All Blacks then asked its fans on Twitter if they think Johnson would have made the All Blacks had he stayed in New Zealand, to which Johnson replied that he would’ve been ‘honoured’ to wear the black jersey.
