WP, Sharks to contest Craven Week 'final'

Cape Town - Western Province and the Sharks will contest the unofficial 'final' of the 2018 Craven Week at Brug Street Grounds in Paarl on Saturday.

Both teams finished the week unbeaten and were awarded the honour of contesting the final match of the 2018 event.

Earlier in the week, WP defeated the Pumas 72-10 and the Golden Lions 13-5, while the Sharks beat South Western Districts 46-28 and Free State 29-20.

Boland will play the Golden Lions in the penultimate match, but could just as well have played in the main match.

Boland thrashed Griquas 61-14 in their opening game, before upsetting the Blue Bulls 19-17 on Thursday.
