The try was scored in June during the first of two Tests against England in San Juan.
Argentina would go on to lose the first Test 38-34 and the second 35-25, but Tuculet's try in that first match was deemed the best of the year by the over 14 000 fans who voted.
Having started the attack from deep in their own territory, the Pumas make the line break and then rely on some nifty passing before Tuculet dots down in the corner.
"I am so happy. I just want to say thanks to my team," Tuculet told World Rugby after the awards.
"They ran a lot ... I just scored."
