Bordeaux, - Former Queensland scrumhalf Nick Frisby, who has played four times for Australia, has been signed by Bordeaux-Begles to replace the injured Yann Lesgourgues, the French Top 14 club announced on Tuesday.

Frisby, who is 25, has signed a contract until the end of the season.

Lesgourgues ruptured a knee ligament on January 6 against Lyon and will be out for six to eight months.
