Wallaby hooker Uelese to play in Ireland 3-Test series

Sydney - Rugby Australia has confirmed that hooker Jordan Uelese will be named in the Wallaby squad to face Ireland in next month's three-Test series.

Stephen Moore retired at the end of the 2017 season, while fellow hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau will be rested for the Ireland series after completing club duties with English side Leicester.

Uelese, who has only played two Tests, will have a tough assignment against Ireland, playing against captain and one of the world's best hookers, Rory Best.

The rest of the Australian side will be named later on Wednesday by coach Michael Cheika

Ireland and Australia play tests on June 9 in Brisbane, June 16 in Melbourne and June 23 in Sydney.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
