Begles - Australia forward Kane Douglas, who last played for the Wallabies three years ago, has signed a two-year contract extension with Bordeaux-Begles, the French club announced on Tuesday.

Douglas, 30, won his 31st Test cap in December 2016, has played 29 games since joining the Top 14 outfit from the Queensland Reds last season.

He has started all of Christophe Urios' side's games of the new campaign with Bordeaux-Begles sitting second in the table with four wins from as many matches.

Bordeaux also announced Georgia prop Lasha Tabidze, 22, who missed out on selection for his country's Rugby World Cup squad, had agreed a new deal keeping him at Stade Chaban-Delmas for a further three years.
