SWD Eagles give Kings a scare

Cape Town - The Southern Kings started their pre-season off on a winning note but had to come from behind to beat the SWD Eagles 22-16 in a match played in George on Friday.

The Kings, who trailed by 13-12 at half-time, scored two tries in the match through winger Michael Makashe and fullback Jurgen Visser. They were also awarded a penalty try.

According to Rugby365.com, the troubled Super Rugby franchise will be happy with their afternoon's work after spending much time in possession and dominating at scrum time.
