Paris - Stade Francais confirmed on Friday the signing of Argentine international prop Ramiro Herrera until 2021.
The 28-year-old, who has 37 Pumas caps, has been training with his new team-mates this week and could make his debut at Brive on Sunday.
"I hope he's ready. He had a long flight and hasn't played for several weeks but international class players adapt quickly," said Stade's New Zealander coach Greg Cooper.
Herrera, who previously played for Castres in the French Top 14 from 2013-15, joins from Argentina Super Rugby franchise Jaguares.
His arrival will help offset the loss in the close season of France international tighthead Rabah Slimani to champions Clermont.
