Cape Town - Springbok Willie le Roux has walked away with one of the big prizes at Wasps’ annual awards ceremony for the 2017/18 European season.
The fullback, who has been in excellent form for the English club, was named the Supporters’ Player of the Year.
The 28-year-old was also shortlisted for the Players’ Player of the Year award, but missed out on that prize as it went to hooker Tom Cruse.
Le Roux, who boasts 41 Test caps, joined Wasps in 2017.
His last Test came in the shock 20-18 defeat to Italy in Florence in 2016.
