Samoa's Faasalele to join struggling Perpignan

Perpignan - Samoa forward Piula Faasalele has signed a three-year deal with relegation-threatened Perpignan, the Top 14 club said on Wednesday.

Faasalele, 31, will leave his current side Toulouse at the end of the campaign after three years at Stade Ernest-Wallon.

The Catalan outfit will be Faasalele's fifth team in France after stints with La Rochelle, third-tier Niort as well as Castres where he won the title in 2013.

Perpignan sit at the bottom of the Top 14 table having recorded only one win this term.

The last of his 17 Tests came in November's victory over Spain in Madrid.
