SA lock joins Lyon from Grenoble

Lyon - South African lock Hendrik Roodt has joined Lyon from relegated Grenoble, the Top 14 side said on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old former Lions, Cheetahs, Waratahs and Blue Bulls second row has signed a three-year contract.

He is the 12th signing Lyon, who were 10th last season, have made already for the coming campaign.

Grenoble finished second last in the table and will play in the second tier Pro D2 next season.
