Milan - An Italian rugby player's capacity for cheating was mocked in the Italian press on Friday after he tested positive for no less than 11 different banned substances.
Davide Vasta, a player with third division (Serie B) club Amatori Catania - based in Sicily - was caught in a random test and has since been provisionally banned.
Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy's leading sports daily, was on strike on Friday but a website report called Vasta's use of banned pharmaceuticals "a doping record!"
Most of the substances revealed were of an anabolic (muscle-building) nature - testosterone and nandrolone among others, although Vasta was also caught using a drug designed to "resize the mammary glands".
One of the side-effects of using such a heady cocktail of anabolics is the growth of breasts in men.
