A standout player at this year's Rugby World Cup, the Zimbabwe-born flanker took to social media this week to document his latest trip 'home'.
Pocock, who has been vocal on issues of human and animal rights in the past, spent time training with a group of men tasked with protecting rhinos from poaching in Zimbabwe.
"Loved spending time with the men at the forefront of the effort to protect rhino," Pocock said on his Instagram account.
"Committed, passionate and enjoying what they do (most of the time) - inspiring to see their commitment in the face of real danger and the challenges of conservation."
Then, on Friday morning, Pocock revealed that he was in Cape Town by posting s video to his Twitter account of a run up Lion's Head.
Pocock is set to play Super Rugby for the Brumbies in 2016.
