Nonu to extend stay with Toulon?

Cape Town - Former All Blacks centre Ma'a Nonu is reportedly poised to extend his contract with Toulon beyond the end of this season.

Nonu's contract with the Top 14 giants is set to expire at the end of the current season in June.

The 34-year-old veteran arrived at the club following the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and had been linked with a move to Premiership newcomers Bristol earlier in the year.

L'Equipe report that Nonu has met with Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal to discuss the possibility of a one-season extension.
