Cape Town - Three promising young Western Province rugby stars are believed to be heading to Johannesburg to play for the Golden Lions.
According to Netwerk24, Gianni Lombard (fullback), Manuel Rass (centre) and Khanya Ncusane (No 8) are believed to the heading north next year.
The three Paarl Boys’ High scholars are in the Western Province Craven Week side for this month’s event in Durban.
Paarl Boys’ High is currently the top schools rugby team in the country.
Bart Schoeman, the Golden Lions’ High Performance Manager, confirmed that they have already signed a contract with Lombard, while he expects the other two players to follow suit.
