Cape Town - Lions flank Kwagga Smith and Blitzboks star Werner Kok will head abroad later this year for stints at overseas clubs.
Afrikaans newspaper Rapport indicated on Sunday that Smith will join Scottish club Edinburgh on a three-month deal after the Currie Cup.
The report added that the Lions are still negotiating with the former Blitzbok regarding a contract for next year's Super Rugby tournament.
Meanwhile, Kok is set to join French club Toulouse on a similar deal. He will however not play for Western Province in the Currie Cup.
