Kaplan posts pictures of newborn son

Cape Town - Retired referee Jonathan Kaplan has posted a picture of his newborn son.

A beaming Kaplan took to Twitter on Wednesday to post a picture holding the new addition to the family.

Kaplan, 49, officiated in 13 Rugby World Cup matches, 68 Tests, 107 Super Rugby matches and 161 Currie Cup clashes before retiring at the end of the 2013 season.

It was a big couple of days for Kaplan who completed Sunday's Comrades Marathon in a time of 11:24:03.
