Cape Town - The Junior Springboks' hopes of reaching the final of the World Rugby U20 Championships lay in tatters after they were thrashed 39-17 by tournament hosts, England.

In the second half, the Junior Boks managed two tries of their own through winger Edwill vd Merwe and fullback Curwin Bosch but it was too little too late as England coasted to victory.
