Jantjies starts at pivot against Bulls

Johannesburg - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his team for their pre-season friendly against the Bulls in Polokwane on Saturday (17:00 kick-off).

Warren Whiteley leads an experienced Lions outfit who are out to test some new combinations.

Elton Jantjies is back from his club duties in Japan and will start in the No 10 jersey.

A bench consisting of eleven players will travel to Polokwane and everyone will get a run, Ackermann said.

The Lions' next warm-up game will be against the Jaguares on Friday, February 19, at Wits University Rugby Club.
