Introducing Mr and Mrs Kwagga!

Cape Town - South African Sevens and Lions star Kwagga Smith has tied the knot with his school sweetheart, Ilke de Haas.

According to Netwerk24, Smith and De Haas said their 'I Do's' in Limpopo last weekend, as the World Rugby Sevens Series took a break.

Smith will however link up with his team-mates in the New Year as they prepare for the third stop on the 10-tournament circuit in Sydney from January 26-28.

The pair started dating when Smith was in matric and De Haas in Grade 10 at Hoer Tegniese Skool Middelburg.

Sumari Redelinghuys, wife of Springbok front-ranker Julian, presided over the wedding, while Smith's Blitzbok team-mate Werner Kok was one of five best men.

Blitzboks skipper Philip Snyman was also among the 150 invited guests.
