Injured Parra pulls out of November Tests

Paris - France will have to contest the upcoming November Tests without Morgan Parra after the Clermont scrumhalf pulled out with a wrist injury.

Parra's place will be filled by Toulouse's Sebastien Bezy, the French rugby federation announced on Saturday.

His defection is a significant blow to France coach Jacques Brunel who was hoping to link him up with his Top 14 team-mate, flyhalf Camille Lopez.

Already injured and out of contention are centre Wesley Fofana and forward Bernard Le Roux.

France face South Africa on November 10, followed by Argentina a week later and Fiji on November 24.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
